Over the weekend, I was able to dedicate large blocks of time to the main book, allowing me to skip ahead and post the cover this morning on schedule. I think it turned out well and while I’m not crazy about cell shading, the time saved allows me to shave the time allotted for coloring in half. Coloring is far and away my weakest point in this process so I’m hoping that I can improve quickly on what I consider to be a rather lackluster part of the comic.

This week, I think I’m going to try to stick to my Mon/Wed/Fri update schedule. The plan is to have comic updates on Mondays, blog entries on Wednesdays, and art previews on Fridays. If I manage to find the time, I’d love to get a few preview sketches of for the good of the people characters finished and posted but time (and coloring of page one and inking of page two) will dictate whether there’s enough time for something that, at this point, is a secondary project.

I don’t have a lot to say this morning so here it is. The Superbowl kept me up late last night and I can think of about 10,000 places I’ve rather be this morning than work; first and foremost being my warm, comfortable bed.
