I was hoping to finish it up tonight but a pulled muscle in my neck is going to prevent me from finishing any real drawing for the rest of the day. On the upside, this setback allows me to finish the first issue script that I’ve been putting off for almost a week… Anyway, follow the image below to Arnaud’s short story page.

After several months of writing, working out conceptual stuff, finding a web format that didn’t make me want to murder someone, and drawing, it feels great to finally have the first short story page of Variables on the site. It’s still not the “real” book but it still feels pretty good to see actual progress instead of ideas and concepts thrown around in what seemed like an endless loop.
Brock BeauchampI’m hard at work on the webcomic Variables and plan for a launch sometime shortly after the new year. Right now, I’m polishing up the outlines and final script for the first issue and will begin drawing in a few weeks. In the meantime, keep an eye out for the first short story, set to start within the week.
